PSG, Milan snub a blessing ―Osimhen

Nigeria U23 international Victor Osimhen has reacted to speculation in the media linking him with a possible move to Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan in the summer transfer window.

French Ligue 1 money bags PSG have been tracking the striker for more than three years, first watching him at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup when the Golden Eaglets thrashed Chile 5-1 and most recently in Belgium.

AC Milan are in the market for a striker and reportedly attempted to sign the Nigeria wonderkid in the January transfer window but were unsuccessful and could reignite their interest in the Ultimate Strikers Academy product when the transfer window opens.

Reacting to speculation linking him with PSG and Milan, Osimhen told Score Nigeria: ”I want to believe it is down to my mentality as a person and a professional.

”And with the help of God I will keep pushing harder and I know more teams are going to come, I hope to make the right choice. I would say to the setback I experienced, I count it as joy.”

Osimhen was unarguably the standout performer as Nigeria U23s thrashed Libya 4-0 on Monday evening in Asaba, scoring a hat-trick and providing the assist for the team’s fourth goal netted by David Okereke.
