Real Madrid confident of £200m Salah deal

The Real Madrid squad believe that Liverpool star Mo Salah will join them in the summer, a report claims.

According to the ever-reliable Spanish outlet Don Balon, Cristiano Ronaldo has approved Real’s summer pursuit of Salah, which has prompted the rest of the team to expect developments.

The Egypt international has netted 43 goals in all competitions this season since his £36m move from Roma last summer.

This has led to speculation that he is attracting interest from the LaLiga giants, who have apparently been told they may have to stump up £200m to sign him.

Cristiano Ronaldo had reportedly blocked moves for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Arturo Vidal in the past, but he is keen on the idea of playing alongside Salah.

In addition, the Portuguese star apparently backs Florentino Perez to get the deal over the line in the summer, no matter the cost.

Reports have even suggested that Liverpool are eager to reward Mo Salah’s form and status as the Premier League’s best player this season by making him their highest earner.
