Real Madrid considering Allegri

Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri is on Real Madrid’s radar, according to a report from Tuttosport. Apparently, Los Blancos called the Italian coach to see if he’d be willing to sign this summer, although Juventus would like to keep him for at least one more season.

It won’t be easy for Real to find a replacement for Zinedine Zidane. Mauricio Pochettino was considered the favorite for the job but his chances have been decreased after Tottenham reportedly asked for at least €50 million to let the Argentinian coach go. Guti could’ve been Madrid’s plan B but his lack of experience might hurt him, so Los Blancos are now forced to take a look at the market.

Furthermore, it would be interesting for Madrid to sign their candidate as soon as possible, given that the new coach will have to make some tough and crucial decisions about the roster. Florentino Perez and his board are now running against the clock.
