Real Madrid edges closer to Jude Bellingham signing

According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are in advanced talks to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

The 19-year-old midfielder is reportedly close to agreeing on personal terms with Real, and the club is preparing to negotiate a deal with Dortmund. Bellingham’s current market value is estimated at €120m, and he is under contract with Dortmund until 2025.

Real is keen to finalize the transfer this month to avoid any last-minute changes of heart, following a similar approach that led to the signing of Aurélien Tchouaméni last summer. Bellingham will join a talented midfield lineup, which includes Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, who are approaching the twilight of their careers.

Bellingham joined Dortmund in 2020 from Birmingham City for €25m, and he has since become one of the team’s most vital players. He has captained Dortmund in the absence of key players such as Marco Reus and Mats Hummels. The youngster has made 40 appearances this season and is on track to produce his best performance yet, with 11 goals and seven assists under his belt.

The potential acquisition of Bellingham is a significant move for Real Madrid, as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the next season.

The talented midfielder has shown immense potential in his time at Dortmund, and Real hopes to harness that potential to secure success in the upcoming season.
