Real Madrid and Manchester United open negotiations for Morata deal

Respective directives from Real Madrid and Manchester United sat down to discuss the signing of Alvaro Morata for the Red Devils.

As reported by ‘Marca’ on Friday, both clubs have initiated talks to reach an agreement over Alvaro Morata’s signing.

The Spanish striker announced some weeks ago he would not continue at Real Madrid and he has accepted a proposal made to him by Jose Mourinho.

Morata has been tempted by the opportunity of having a major role in a top club like Manchester United and did not hesitate to accept the offer.

Despite Zidane’s efforts to try to convince the young centre-forward, Morata is tired of playing second fiddle at the Bernabeu. On the other hand, Florentino Perez is happy to make some cash out of the player’s exit.

As of now, there is nothing definite, but both clubs are expected to reach an agreement, and make Alvaro Morata’s signing official next week.
