Cristiano Ronaldo
European and Spanish champions Real Madrid have apparently drawn up a shortlist of names to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
Paris Saint-Germain’s on-loan Valancia forward Gonçalo Guedes, young Gremio midfielder Lincoln and £44m-rated 17-year-old Palmeiras striker Alan Souza are all being viewed as possible successors to the Ronaldo throne, according to Diario Gol.
The news comes after relations have apparently grown strained between the club’s record goalscorer and president Florentino Perez.
It has been claimed Ronaldo, who has scored 413 goals in 404 games for Madrid since 2009, wants more money and fresh terms despite signing a five-year contract last year.
A move for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has been touted, but Perez is apparently keen to discover a young raw talent.
