THE season is coming to an end and, despite having two trophies to play for, Real Madrid are thinking about next season’s squad, and the possible arrivals and departures.
Real Madrid have overcome the transfer ban set by FIFA which stoppped them signing players last year, and this summer they plan on making a move for more than one player. But, for there to be arrivals, some players must leave first.
The Spanish giants have estimated that offloading some of their rejects this summer could leave behind a huge amount they would then use to sign other players: 250 million euros.
The high-profile sales of James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata would take up a big chunk of the earnings. As pointed out by ‘Ok Diario’, Florentino Perez could get 160 million in exchange for the two footballers.
The Colombian and the Spanish striker are not the only players set to leave the Bernabeu, with players such as Coentrao, Pepe and Danilo also tipped to say goodbye this upcoming transfer window.
The possible departure of Gareth Bale would break the market, with Mourinho’s Manchester United targetting the Welshman.
