According to Spanish daily ‘Marca’, Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo are expected to meet this very week. After Portugal’s exit from the Confederations Cup, the striker will now have to deal with the questions regarding his future.
A future which remains undecided. After his problems with Spanish authorities relating to tax avoidance schemes, Cristiano expressed his desire to leave the club.
That is the topic to be discussed between both parties. ‘Marca’ spoke to one of the Real’s directives: ‘Cristiano’s future will be key for the club’s plans for next season’, were the words from the club executive.
Madrid’s initial plans include Ronaldo, though the same source warned there had been no communication with the player: ‘We are unaware of his intentions. We are counting on him, but we have to know what he wants’.
For the time being, there will be no further movements from the ‘Blancos’, not until CR7 reaches a decision.
