Gernot Rohr is still remain as Super Eagles head coach, according to Head of Media and Communication of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ademola Olajire,
Olajire is reacting to a report indicating that NFF are ready to disengage with German tactician after Super Eagles played a 1-1 draw on Tuesday in their last group game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

According to him, Olajire disclosed that “I’m not aware of Rohr’s sack because there are procedures for doing things at the federation. Before such a decision could be taken, there will be a meeting of the NFF board and a release issued to the public.
“As for now, I’m not aware of the sack. The online platform you claimed reported the story cannot announce his sack without confirmation from the NFF.”
