VETERAN Roma midfielder Francesco Totti is reportedly considering his future after growing frustrated with a lack of game time.
The 40-year-old joined Roma’s youth academy in 1989 and has made over 600 appearances for his hometown club, netting 250 times.
However, he has slipped down the pecking order over recent years and is understood to be frustrated at the amount of time he spends on the bench. Totti was handed a four-minute run-out in the midweek Coppa Italia defeat to arch-rivals Lazio and is reportedly set to begin discussions about a future role.
It was understood that the midfielder wanted to pen a one-year extension but he will now meet with owner James Pallotta about potentially moving into a backroom role.
