Ronaldinho chooses the man to replace Neymar at Barcelona

Neymar’s move to PSG is only a few hours away from materialising, and club legend Ronaldinho has backed Barcelona to sign this player to fill the void left by the Brazilian.

Ronaldinho marked an era at the Camp Nou and his ties to the Catalan club allow him to have a say in how Barcelona should prepare for life without Neymar. When the €222 million release clause is paid, the Spanish giants will try to sign Philippe Coutinho.

The former Barcelona star analysed the potential signing: ‘There are few players in the world who can replace Neymar, and I think Coutinho could be one of them’, Ronaldinho revealed.

He continued to heap praise on the Liverpool man as he urged Barcelona to make a move for the player who has taken the Premier League by storm. ‘He is at a level where he could come and fill the void left by Neymar, but Liverpool know his value and, with the fees being paid this summer, how much Barcelona will have to pay’, Ronaldinho said about Coutinho.

In the coming days a transfer frenzy could take place at Barcelona and Valverde could lament Neymar’s exit as he welcomes the arrival of another star. Coutinho has Ronaldinho’s blessing.
