Cristiano Ronaldo asked to be treated like the rest of his teammates, Al Nassr President Musalli Al Muammar revealed.
Al Muammar made the statement during Ronaldo’s official unveiling on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, in Riyadh.
“Ronaldo asked during the negotiations to be treated like the rest of his teammates, in terms of rewards and club regulations,” he said at Mrsool Park stadium in Riyadh.

He also commented that it is “very normal” that his salary is “the highest”, without giving figures, although he revealed that the “agreement is commercially beneficial in terms of profitability and many things will be known in the coming days”.
“The agreement with Ronaldo is not limited to football, as he will support the Al Nassr Club Academy that we plan to make, in addition to presenting the club’s history and supporting its fame among football fans,” he said.

Cristiano’s move to Al Nassr was made official on December 30, 2022, bringing to a close a month of rumours linking him to the Saudi club after he severed his relationship with Manchester United and became a free agent, although the value of his contract has not been officially disclosed.
“I can say now that many opportunities came up in Europe, many clubs in Brazil, in Australia, the USA, and even in Portugal, but I gave my word to this club,” Ronaldo said at his press conference.
“My contract is unique because I am a unique player.“
