Ronaldo makes Juventus debut on August 19

Juventus new signing Cristiano Ronaldo will make his Serie A debut against Chievo Verona on the weekend of August 18-19 revealed.

The 33-year-old Portugal skipper moved Allianz Stadium from Real Madrid for £88m earlier this month and Massimiliano Allegri’s team to make a trip to the 31,000 Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi in the opening weekend of the season.

The fixture list for the 2018-19 season of the Italian championship was announced on Thursday evening as the pick of the first batch of the games sees Napoli who now coached by Carlo Ancelotti make the trip to the Stadio Olimpico to face Lazio.

However, Roma face Torino away, Inter Milan make the trip to Sassuolo and AC Milan welcome Genoa.

Newly-promoted Parma, who will start the season with a five-point deduction after striker Emanuele Calaio was adjudged to have sent “suspicious messages” to a rival player ahead of a match in May, start at home to Udinese.

The following weekend sees Lazio make the trip to Turin to play Bianconerri, where new signing Ronaldo could make his first appearance in a Juventus shirt at the club’s home ground.
