Lizarazu believes that Ronaldo's threats to leave the club are a bluff.
The former France international made his point of view very clear during the interview. He believes that Ronaldo is simply trying to wangle himself more money next season in the wake of Lionel Messi’s contract renewal.
Lizarazu gave his opinion on Ronaldo’s future during the interview, explaining that he was very confident that the 32-year-old would remain at the Bernabeu next season, despite rumours linkin him with a possible departure.
“I think it’s all a bluff, mainly because Real Madrid could easily solve his financial problems. There is nothing better for Ronaldo than Real Madrid, he is the best player in the world and they are the best club in the world. I think it’s all a big bluff, I don’t see him leaving Real Madrid” explained Lizarazu.
Experts seem to be split on whether Ronaldo will stay or go this summer, but in the case of Lizarazu, there is no doubt whatsoever.
