Rooney celebrates his first goal of his second spell at Everton.
The former United man smiles again. Only a few days after joining Everton, he continued his fantastic record of scoring on his debut.
Wayne Rooney pulled on an Everton shirt once again, and he did not disappoint. The English striker opened the scoring just after the half hour mark, with a signature goal.
The former Red Devil received the ball 25 yards out, turned to face the goal and unleashed a strike which curled away from the fingertips of Gor Mahia’s keeper. A brilliant goal to celebrate the return to his childhood club.
