Argentine Aguero wants coach Jorge Sampaoli sacked
From all indication there is tension at the Argentina camp following a hint that the Argentina striker, Sergio Aguero who has so far scored for the team at the world cup in Russia 2018 will not be part of the lineup for Tuesday’s match with Nigeria.
According to Daily Mirror of UK, Jorge Sampaoli has decided to punish the Manchester City icon by benching him against Nigeria on Tuesday.
After the defeat to Croatia, Sampaoli said the Argentina players “players did not adapt” and “the project failed.”
When asked by the press, Aguero appeared mortified and hit back at Sampaoli, saying “Let him say what he wants.”
It has been suggested that a number of Argentina players tried to have Sampaoli sacked after the Croatia game but have not been successful and one of the victims will be Kun Aguero, who looks poised to sit out against Nigeria.
