Arrangement has been concluded for the fourth edition of the annual Sabol fitness Independence walk scheduled to hold tomorrow in celebration of Nigeria’s independence from the British colonialism.

The indepence walk could not hold in the year 2020 and 2021 due to ban on public gathering by the Federal Government of Nigeria, following the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic which put the world on a standstill.

The 15-kilometre walk is put together by Sabol Fitness Centre, a physical fitness outfit domiciled at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan.

According to the coordinator of the event, Mr Saka Ajibola Adesina, logistics to ensure an hitch-free walk have been put in place, ranging from medical care, effective control human and vehicular movement and the security of participants.

The walk would take participants through the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium to Molete, Challenge, Ring-road and back to Obafemi Awolowo Stadium.
