Sanchez one to fear ―Escudero

Sergio Escudero fears Manchester United ace Alexis Sanchez could ruin Sevilla’s Champions League dream.

United will face the Spanish outfit in a last 16, first leg tie in the Ramon Sanchez Stadium tomorrow.

Sevilla have won the Europa League a remarkable five times since 2006.

But Vincenzo Montella’s men have never won a last 16 game in the Champions League or made it to the quarter finals.

Now United stand between them and making history and Escudero admits facing them and Sanchez will be a tough task.

The Spanish defender, 28, said: “We might be the underdogs, but we can use this as extra motivation.

“In Alexis Sanchez, they have a really good quality player”

“These kind of games are incredible for us, with the who stadium backing us.

“We will be ready and focused because we want to keep on going in the competition.

“But we know United have some top class players as well as a top class manager.

“We have a lot of respect for them and in Alexis Sanchez, they have a really good quality player.

“We know him from his time at Barcelona – he’s really intelligent and he could be a big danger to us.”
