Ademola Lookman is pleased to score in his Premier League debut for Everton FC in last Sunday’s 4-0 thrashing of Manchester City at the Goodison Park.
The Charlton Athletic forward who moved to the EPL side with £11million offer, scored his side’s last goal of the game with his second touch to seal the victory for the Toffees, and he claims he was delighted he was able to contribute to his side’s victory at home.
“It is amazing, a great feeling,” Lookman born of Nigerian parents told Everton website.
“I’m delighted to have been able to come on, help the team and score my first Premier League goal. It was great to just finish the day off.
“Everything has been really good since I have been here. To be around players that I grew up watching and learn off them every day is great.”
Lookman according to www.thesun.co.uk adores his Everton team-mates a lot.
He said: “It was amazing. Growing up, I watched most of them (Everton stars) play on TV. To actually train with them and be part of the team, it’s amazing.
“Romelu Lukaku was a big hero of mine. He was amazing at finishing. Every shot he takes pretty much goes in.
“I also idolised Yannick Bolasie, Kevin Mirallas ,Ross Barkley, Gerard Deulofeu – pretty much all the attacking players because I’m an attacker and they were the ones I used to watch.”
