Search for new NFF president begins

As the race to determine who succeeds the incumbent president of the Nigeria Football Federation begins there is a need to give the Federation a new face.
We need a new face in Nigerian Football to drive our football administration and development to the level expected of the giant of Africa.
Nigerian Football needs an establishment man and or woman that could leverage on his or her  relationship and experience in government to give us the necessary peace we require internally. Someone who can work in providing a strong synergy between government, Nigerian football and sponsors as well as with other international partners.
Someone who’s words are his honour and has shown elements of patriotism, honesty, integrity and accountability.
Nigerian Football must move away from the winner takes all and step into an all inclusive program where Nigerians will be carried along in determining how to ensure service delivery in terms of development.
The qualities are many and high for anyone that will aspire to lead our football.
However, there are strong indications that Alhaji Abba Abdullahi Yola, a former principal officer in  the federal ministry of Youths and Sports as well as former Kano Pillars FC will contest the Nigeria Football Federation Presidency.
A very close source of the Chief of Staff  to the Minister of Youths and Sports Development said that Yola who is an accomplished sport administrator is surely qualified to take over from the incumbent President Mr Amaju Pinnick as a result of his wealth of experience.
The source, who pleaded not to be mentioned further, said that Yola is a more qualified and better candidate for the position having been a sports administrator of repute for many years.
“Even though he has not declared his intention to contest the NFF Presidency, I can say it authoritatively that he will contest and emerge the next NFF President In sha Allah,” he said.
“The source continued, “Yola will use his wealth of experience to help develop football, secure formidable sponsors through clean, robust and transparent marketing and take Nigerian Football to an enviable position it rightly belongs. He is indeed a force to reckon with as far as the election is concerned,” he said.
