Neymar could be delaying his quest for new challenges following the imminent arrival of Luis Enrique as the new head coach of PSG, according to L’Équipe.
The appointment of the Spanish coach seems highly likely, with talks reportedly in an advanced stage with the club’s management.
The decision to bring in Luis Enrique has received approval from the Qatari ownership, club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, and Sporting advisor LuÃs Campos.

If the deal goes through, Luis Enrique will once again team up with Neymar, whom he previously coached for three seasons at Barcelona from 2014 to 2017. Their time together at Barcelona was highly successful, as Neymar won his only Champions League title in 2015, clinched two Liga titles, and played a crucial role in the memorable 6-1 comeback against PSG.
Having previously hinted at a potential departure from PSG, Neymar now seems inclined to stay, given his strong bond with Luis Enrique.
L’Équipe reports that the Brazilian playmaker no longer has the desire to leave PSG.
Currently recovering from ankle ligament damage surgery he underwent last March, Neymar is expected to make a comeback to the squad next month.
