The trio of Junior Ajayi of Al Ahly of Egypt, Etebo Oghenekaro of Las Palmas and Gabriel Okechukwu of Akwa United are expected join the Super Eagles camp today in London ahead of the friendly against Serbia.
The friendly which is the third, since Nigeria’s qualification for Russia 2018 is scheduled to hold on Tuesday at The HIVE, Barnet FC ground.
Toyin Ibitoye, media officer of the Super Eagles disclosed this to Tribunesport adding that no player from those currently in camp will be dropped from the match against Serbia.
According to him, the Super Eagles will arrive in London today and move straight to their Crowne Plaza Ealing camp.
The team’s training schedule will be made public by the head coach Gernot Rohr later in the day.
“The technical crew has no intention of dropping any player from the squad in Poland ahead of Tuesday’s match against Serbia, but rather more players will be joining us on Saturday [today] when we arrive in London for the match,” he said.
It will be recalled, that Ajayi who recently emerged the best foreign player in the Egyptian Premier League, was unable to secure visa to Poland for Friday’s friendly in Wroclaw.
