Data shows that Egypt has the highest number of titles with 7 titles since AFCON began in 1957, 1959, 1986, 1998, 2006, 2008, 2010.
Cameroon is trailing behind with 5 titles, 1984, 1988, 2000, 2002, and 2017. Ghana is the next to win 4 times, 1963, 1965, 1978, 1982.
Nigeria has won it 3 times, 1980, 1994, and 2013. Ivory Coast with 2 times 1992, 2015. Algeria also 2 times in 1990, and 2019, while DR. Congo also won 2 times in 1968, and 1974.
