Maria Sharapova has thrown her hat into the ring to play alongside Andy Murray at Wimbledon.
Andy Murray is hoping to play in both the men’s and mixed doubles at his home Grand Slam next month.
The Scot returned from hip surgery on Thursday night as he competed at Queen’s alongside team-mate Feliciano Lopez.
The pair sprung a shock by knocking top seeds Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah out of the tournament.
Murray then announced he will be joined by a new face at the All England Club as four-time doubles Grand Slam winner Pierre-Hugues Herbert will become his accomplice.

But the former world No 1 admitted he is still searching for a female partner for the mixed draw after being rejected by WTA world No 2 Ashleigh Barty.
Sharapova, a five-time Grand Slam winner in the singles, has since taken to Twitter to offer her services to Murray.
“I heard @andy_murray was looking for a mixed dubs partner,” Sharapova tweeted.
“Thanks @usopen for sending in my resume today.”
