Diego Simeone refused to confirm whether Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is a target for Atletico Madrid in the January window.
The former Real Madrid star is having a hit and miss time in the English Premier League and reports have suggested that Atleti could offer him the chance to return to his homeland.
Sevilla have also been linked but have described the move as being ‘very, very complicated, and it remains to be seen whether Atleti will pursue a deal.
Simeone was coy about the possibility when quizzed about it.

“The only thing I’m thinking about is the upcoming match,” Simeone told reporters. “I don’t speak about players that aren’t with us, only those that are.
“I can’t confirm or deny anything because coaches wait to see what the club can do.
“Some players want more minutes, some could be sold by the club, and some could arrive. We need to wait until January 31.”
