FC Nantes could be without the services of Nigerian winger Moses Simon when they face Paris Saint-Germaine at the Parc des Princes on Saturday.
PSG lost the Ligue 1 title to Lille last season and have been ruthless in their objective of reclaiming the league crown.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men have won 11 of their 13 league matches and have established a ten-point advantage over second-place Lens with just a third of the campaign gone.
For a side that narrowly escaped relegation last term, Nantes are not doing badly. The Canaries sit in the tenth position on the table with 18 points.
A trip away to the Parisians is always a daunting task, but Nantes, despite their struggles at the time, were one of the teams to beat PSG at home last season. Moses Simon scored a 71st-minute winner as Nantes claimed a memorable 2-1 win at the Parc des Princes.

But the Super Eagles winger, who has been one of the Canaries’ best players so far, is a doubt for the latest clash against the former champions.
Simon suffered an injury during Nigeria’s World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Tuesday which ended in a 1-1 draw.
He was replaced in the game by Shehu Abdullahi in the 67th minute of the game.
But Simon is expected to return to France where his club boss Antoine Kombouaré confirms, as per Ouest-France, that he would undergo medical checks to gauge his availability.
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) bronze medallist has contributed a goal and six assists to Nantes’ cause this term, winning the Canaries’ player of August and September.
