The highly anticipated 2025 Sokoto State President Federation Cup is set to kick off on February 18, with defending champions Sokoto United taking on Arewa Pillars in the first semi-final clash.
Due to the limited number of registered teams, the competition begins at the semi-final stage, featuring four contenders: Sokoto United FC, Arewa Pillars, Jedo Academy, and Sokoto North FC.
Following the opening match, Jedo Academy will go head-to-head with Sokoto North FC on Wednesday, February 19, to determine the second finalist.
Both semi-final fixtures will take place at the Giginya Stadium, with the winners not only securing a spot in the final but also earning the honour of representing Sokoto State on the national stage of the tournament.
The draw for the competition was conducted by the Sokoto State Football Association, represented by board member Murtala Muhammad Abubakar on behalf of the FA Chairman.
