Stakeholder urges delegates to vote for continuity

Former chairman, Ekiti State Football Association, Dr Isaac Ayodele, has called on the 44 delegates to the election of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) today in Katsina to allow for continuity by voting for incumbent President, Amaju Pinnick and first Vice President, Seyi AKinwunmi, for another four-year mandate.

“It is out there for all to see the god work of the president NFF board led by Amaju Pinnick.

“I just want to urge the delegates to really give continuity a chance by voting these people (Pinnick and Akinwunmi) in again,” he said.

“There is no need to be sentimental at this crucial moment of our football development. We have gone too far and the only way to continue the good work is by allowing them to continue in the office.

“Apart from Pinnick and the VP, it is very important not to change the winning team by voting other members that have been supporting the board while also allowing the League Management Company (LMC) chairman, Shehu Dikko, to continue as the second Vice President.

“They have done well together and like we say in football, you don’t change a winning team.
