Luis Suarez will miss the Copa del Rey final after the Barcelona striker was ruled out for four to six weeks after undergoing knee surgery.
Barcelona revealed the medial meniscus injury on Thursday and have now confirmed the 32-year-old’s season has come to a premature end.
Suarez will be absent from the club’s final two remaining La Liga games against Getafe and Eibar and the domestic cup final against Valencia on May 25.
In a statement, the club said: “The Uruguayan will be out for around four to six weeks.

“As such, the FC Barcelona striker will miss the three remaining fixtures this season, the league games against Getafe and Eibar and the Copa del Rey final against Valencia on 25 May in Seville.”
Suarez, who has scored 25 goals in 49 appearances this season, is also a doubt for this summer’s Copa America, with Uruguay set to begin their campaign against Ecuador in just over five weeks, on June 16.
Barcelona retained their La Liga title last month but were knocked out of the Champions League semi-finals on Tuesday, after Liverpool won 4-0 at Anfield to progress 4-3 on aggregate.
