Also, Captain of IGC, Col. Ade Sunmonu (retd.) lauded the sponsor for his effort at promoting golf adding that the celebrant is a major pillar of support at IGC having contributed greatly to improve the profile of the club.
“The management of one of his companies, Soft Alliance decided to take over the sponsorship of the birthday of Mr Tunde Badejo three years ago. I have no doubt in my mind that the decision by the management to take over the sponsorship must have been borne out of the positive impact he has made in the lives of the individual staff and growth of the company,” Sunmonu said.
Badejo thanked all the participants and the IGC members for the warm reception.
“Playing golf is the best thing which had ever happened to me. Ever since I started golf years back, I’ve never stopped. IGC is a great place for me, I travel to IGC to play golf every weekend and no regret of picking golf,” he said.
