The future of Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro remains uncertain as his current contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to expire at the end of this month.
Speculation has arisen suggesting that the Portuguese coach will not be offered a new contract by the NFF.
When asked about his contract situation during a training session ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone, Peseiro chose not to provide a direct answer. Instead, he focused on the team’s preparations for the upcoming match.
