Xhaka scythed down Barrow with a brutal challenge which led to him being sent off
Modou Barrow forgave Granit Xhaka for the X-rated challenge which left him in agony.
The Swansea winger tore Arsenal apart and threatened to cause an upset at the Emirates.
Arsenal midfielder Xhaka eventually gave up and scythed down Barrow with a brutal challenge which led to him being sent off.
Barrow, who limped off shortly afterwards with his ankle heavily strapped, said: “I got a bad tackle from behind and after that I cannot judge if he should have been sent off or not.
“I think at that point we were in control and could have got an equaliser.
“I haven’t seen him since the game but I wouldn’t say anything. It is a game of football and it is nothing to worry about.”
Barrow was a thorn in Arsenal’s side even though the Gunners managed to beat Swansea for the first time in four games at the Emirates to spoil Bob Bradley’s first game in charge.
“Both teams play great football,” said Barrow.
“What I have in terms of pace I try to use and the new manager is telling me to do that.”
Bradley added: “I think Mo has talent but you get to a higher level by having the whole package – tactically and mentally. He was promising but it is just a start.”
