Terry snapped back at Chelsea training

The Blues are in action tomorrow against Crystal Palace, and they were boosted by the sight of their former captain dropping in at Cobham.

Terry, now captain of Aston Villa – who are third in the Championship, returned to his old stomping ground and was seen sharing a joke or two with manager Antonio Conte and coach Carlo Cudicini.

Conte will also have been pleased to see N’Golo Kante and Tiemoue Bakayoko back in training, with the former having missed the defeat at Manchester City after he fainted, and the latter missing for several weeks due to a calf strain.

The Palace game is must win for Chelsea, as they are now in fifth place, five points behind Tottenham in the last Champions League spot.

They also need to rediscover some form ahead of Wednesday night’s visit to Barcelona, where they are up against it to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals after a 1-1 draw in the home leg.
