Theo Walcott could miss Arsenal’s trip to Manchester United if this happens

THEO WALCOTT could be a last-minute withdrawal from Arsenal’s squad to face Manchester United.

The Gunners striker has been in good form this year but Arsene Wenger may have to cope without him at Old Trafford.

And that is because Walcott and his wife Melanie are expecting their second child any day now.

England boss Gareth Southgate revealed Walcott was on baby watch ahead of England’s 3-0 win over Scotland on Friday.

He said: “Theo Walcott might have to disappear at any time as his wife is expecting so we are conscious of that.”

There has been no word from the England ace that he has become a father for the second time so Gooners face a nervous wait.

Arsenal travel to Old Trafford for the early kick off on Saturday (12.30pm) looking to keep the heat on at the top of the table.

Wenger’s men sit fourth in the Premier League, two points behind table-toppers Liverpool.

United are back in sixth but won’t be able to leapfrog the Gunners at the weekend even if they win.
