Barcelona has released, through club spokesperson Josep Vives, the data from the Blaugrana Observatory for August 2019.
The study was conducted between July 30 and August 5 for residents in Spain, and from July 30 to August 23 for residents in Catalonia.
The findings found that there is satisfaction amongst Barcelona’s members, with an overall score of 7.3 out of 10.
Although this survey was carried out after the Anfield defeat in the Champions League semi-final, and with the Neymar rumours fresh in people’s minds, the optimism for the members stands at 7.9, confirming that they expect to see improvement in 2019/20.

In fact, their optimism ranks higher than their overall grade for the season – 7.3 for members and 7.6 for fans.
Expectations are high for this season, with 67.7 percent of members believing it will be better than the last campaign.
The main objectives for the members and supporters have changed somewhat: “winning everything” has beaten “playing good football” by just over five percent. Comparing with last year’s numbers, “winning everything” has seen a 27 percent increase.
Members and supporters have also been asked in these surveys whether Barcelona are the best club in the world. Barcelona won, as they did last year, but Manchester City have moved ahead of Real Madrid as the second-best team, according to them.

Curiously, the results have shown that they believe Barcelona’s season, where they won LaLiga Santander, was better than what Liverpool, who won the Champions League, were able to achieve.
More than 30 percent also believe that Barcelona has more economic potential than Manchester City or Real Madrid, who in both cases have less than 10 percent.
