Tottenham eyeing record-breaking £400m+ naming rights deal for new ground – reports

Spurs want to be in their new stadium for the 2018-19 season and have reportedly approached big-money organisations about sponsorship.

Tottenham are reportedly eyeing a record-breaking naming rights deal for their new stadium, eclipsing the £400million arrangement between Manchester City and Etihad Airways.

Spurs are set to move into their new ground in the summer of 2018 and have already approached big-money organisations about sponsorship, report the Evening Standard.

Discussions are apparently at an early stage with no preferred partner identified, but Qatar Investment Authority are thought to be interested.

Spurs’ new home is set to house 61,000 spectators and is set to be used for both football and the NFL, with a minimum of two games per season expected to be played.

The club will play their European games at Wembley this evening while part of White Hart Lane is out of use due to the ongoing work on the new stadium.

Tottenham’s Champions League clash against Monaco is the first of those fixtures this evening, with a sell-out crowd expected at the national stadium.
