Tyson Fury rules out two heavyweight fights

After a successful comeback victory against Arslanbek Makhmudov, Tyson Fury is officially back in the ring for boxing and is desperate for activity.

However, the 37-year-old has ruled out two potential opponents for a duel.

Recall that Fury beat Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last weekend, claiming a comfortable decision victory and calling for a possible showdown with Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk.

Although when called out by Fury during the aftermath, Joshua appeared reluctant to talk the fight up, refusing to agree to face his perennial rival next and insinuating that he first wants a warm-up fight against an alternate opponent.

However, Fury admitted in the post-fight press conference that fights against fellow Brits, Daniel Dubois and Moses Itauma, are of no interest to him, according to Boxing News Online, a UK-based boxing newsroom.

“I’m not interested in Daniel Dubois, I’m not interested in Moses [Itauma].

“They are all great fighters, and I wish them all the best of luck in the world, but I want to fight Anthony Joshua; that is it. Or, if AJ doesn’t want it, then let’s get Usyk in the trilogy.”

Should both of them emerge victorious in their respective preparation fights, Joshua and Fury are expected to collide at Wembley Stadium in November.
