Chelsea dazzler Victor Moses is encouraging Eupen’s Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru to choose a transfer to West Ham ahead of London rivals Arsenal, it has been claimed.
The Super Eagles creator spent the whole of the 2015-2016 season on loan at the Hammers and said some nice things about the club when he was contacted by Onyekuru.
”The Nigerian wants to play for the London Stadium side despite reports in Belgium saying Eupen wanted him to go to a more prestigious club,” Simon Jones of Daily Mail wrote.
”Onyekuru, who has one international cap, has spoken to Chelsea’s Victor Moses about living in London and has been encouraged to make the move to West Ham where Moses played on loan in 2015-16.”
Italy international Angelo Ogbonna was an important member of West Ham’s first team last season, while Tunji Akinola and Ajibola Alese play for the youth teams.
