JOSE MOURINHO is eyeing another English raid by targeting Aaron Wan-Bissaka at old club Manchester United.
Former Red Devils boss Mourinho has had great success with the signing of Three Lions striker Tammy Abraham, who has blasted 24 goals this term.
Now he is considering a move for Abraham’s compatriot Wan-Bissaka.
The full-back is also drawing admiring glances from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.
AWB is waiting to speak to incoming Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag to see if he is in the Dutchman’s plans.
The defender, 24, has endured a difficult campaign at Old Trafford.
He has started only 25 games with Diogo Dalot being preferred of late.
Crystal Palace, who sold Wan-Bissaka to United for £50 million in 2019, would be open to re-signing him.
However, the Eagles are only interested in a loan move.
Mourinho left Manchester the year before Wan-Bissaka arrived.
But now he is rebuilding his reputation in Serie A with Roma.
Should he convince the former England Under-21 star, who was born in Croydon but is eligible for the Democratic Republic of Congo, to come to the Stadio Olimpico, then he would be joined by compatriots Abraham and Chris Smalling.
Atletico are looking for a new right-back having sold Kieran Trippier, another Englishman, to Newcastle in January.
