‘You! I want you!’, Mourinho tried to sign a player… on the pitch at the Friends Arena!

MOURINHO is famed for his impertinence and controversial statements, but after the Europa League final he went even further…

The Portuguese manager took advantage of the Europa League final to approach Patrick Kluivert’s son, Justin, with an interesting proposition.

Mourinho went up to Justin and shouted: ‘You! I want you! You are a special one’. To which the young winger responded: ‘Also you, I’ve heard’.

Amid the peculiar conversation, the former Chelsea, Inter and Madrid boss attempted to sign the player right there on the spot: ‘Let’s make a special transfer. One more season and then you come to Manchester and you become my striker’.

He ended the unconventional negotiations with a promise: ‘See you in 2018. We win the Champions League and the Premier League’.

At the age of 18, wonderkid Kluivert is already in the spotlight thanks to his performances for Ajax and, now, because of the interest Mourinho has shown in him.
