Watford have accepted a £20million bid from Chinese club Changchun Yatai for Odion Ighalo, according to reports.
The Nigeria striker is said to be reluctant to move to China, however, with other Premier League clubs interested in a loan deal.
But Watford manager Walter Mazzarri has recently added M’Baye Niang and Mauro Zarate to his ranks so is willing to let Ighalo leave.
One of the clubs reportedly interested is West Brom, who have asked to take the 27-year-old on loan as he hesitates over a move to the Far East.
Ighalo has struggled for form this season, scoring just a single goal in 18 Premier League appearances.
It is believed that Watford originally placed a 25 million pounds price tag on Ighalo.
On Sunday, Watford left out the striker from an FA Cup tie loss at Millwall.
Last week, Watford manager Walter Mazzarri confirmed the club had received official bids for the Nigeria striker with Chinese club in the forefront of the chase.
