The Oyo State Sports Council has appointed founder Akande Tunde’s Movement (ATM) and charter president, Rotary club of Ibadan-Challenge, Dr Kazeem Akande as the first vice chairman of the Oyo State Aquatic Association.
In a statement made available to news men on Friday, Akande lauded Oyo State Sports for the appointment while he pledged to contribute to the development of the game in the state.
He said “I appreciate the Oyo State Sports Council for the appointment as the first vice chairman, Oyo State Aquatic Association it is indeed a great privilege
“I pledge to contribute my quota to the development of Aquatic games in the state when assume office as the first vice chairman
“This will serve as a new dawn in the state and with the support from from the association, we will reposition the game,”he said.
