Watford FC of England forward, Isaac Success, has lost his number 10 jersey following the arrival of Danny Welbeck from Arsenal FC.
Success, at a press conference heralding his unveiling in 2016, disclosed that he cherished the number 10 shirt, adding that the jersey mostly worn by the best would propel him to give his best for the Hertfordshire-based side.
The Nigerian international who wore the jersey during the 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons has been handed number 22 for the new season.
Tribunesport understands that the shirt was part of the package used by the management of Watford to lure Welbeck to Vicarage Road.

The Hornets believe Welbeck who has 42 England caps and was part of Gareth Southgate’s squad to the 2018 World Cup made a major impact without injury ahead of Isaac Success who only featured nine times for Malaga FC of Spain on loan in 2018.
Tribunesport learnt that the inability of the Edo State-born player to live up to his billing in front of goal was the main reason behind coach Javi Gracia’s resolve to bring in Welbeck.
Success, on July 1, 2016, agreed a five-year deal with Watford but could only find the back of the net once in 19 appearances in the 2016/17 season and after one appearance in 2017/19, he was loaned to Malaga.
He was a used substitute when Watford lost 0-3 to Brighton in the opening match of the 2019/20 Premier League.
