Amaju Pinnick
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission’s (ICPC) on Tuesday alleged that several properties belonging to top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), including its president Amaju Pinnick, were seized in a fresh corruption probe because the football chiefs live above their incomes.
The ICPC, as a credence to the ongoing probe has gone as far as publishing via a newspaper advertisement the properties seized – half of which belong to Pinnick with one based in England.
Reacting to Tribunesport investigation, the spokesperson of the Commission, Rasheedat Okoduwa said apart from the advertisement, the body was not ready to go into details so as not to jeopardise investigations.

“It (the investigation) is basically because what they have is in excess of what they have earned,” Okoduwa said.
She added: “We can’t go into further details beyond the fact that many officials of the NFF are under investigation”.
Calls put through NFF President, Pinnick were unreplied while text messages sent to him were also ignored.
Meanwhile, Shehu Dikko merely exchanged pleasantries with Tribunesport but declined to make comments about the ICPC action.
Before the intervention of the ICPC, the Nff officials have had their time the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Special Presidential Investigation Panel (SPIP).
