Former Nigeria World Cup star Osaze Odemwingie has said he will consider a move to China even though it could be difficult for him because the clubs there now consider younger players.
Odemwingie has played in France, Russia, Belgium as well as in the Premier League in England with West Bromwich Albion, Cardiff City and Stoke City.
Now 35, the former Nigeria international is now in the twilight of his career, but he said he will consider offers outside England, where his family has fully settled.
“There is a possibility to move to China though it is becoming more difficult for players of my age now to go there,” Osaze whose contract with Rotherham United ended last month said.
“We had our third baby in October in England and now my wife does not mind travelling.
“Earlier in my career I had the chance to move to the Emirates, Qatar and China but I did not take it.”
It will be recalled that younger Nigerian stars in Mikel Obi and Odion Ighalo have been lured this year by the big money Chinese football now offers.
