Construction work on one of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Football Houses sited in Ilorin will start tomorrow.
The contractor handling the project in three of the benefiting six states, Engineer Olumide Adeleke disclosed this in Ilorin.
Adeleke who had visited the site inside the Kwara State Stadium Complex said the project would be completed by the second week of January 2018.
He stated that the Football House which would be fully equipped and furnished would comprise offices for the FA Chairman, Head of Coaching, Conference hall, football viewing centre.
He commended the Kwara state government for siting the Football House inside the stadium complex describing it as a good development.
Adeleke who is also handling the projects of Jigawa and Borno states assured that the project would stand the test of time as quality materials would be used.
Also speaking, chairman of Kwara state Football Association, Mallam Busari Ishola described the commencement of the project as a welcome development and a dream come true.
He noted that FA would ensure strict monitoring to enable the contractor to complete the project as scheduled.
Ishola explained that similarly the Football House project would be constructed as well in Osun, Bayelsa, Abia, Jigawa and Borno states.
He thanked the state government for its support saying the construction of the Football House would enhance the growth of the game in the state.
