World Cup European play-offs confirmed

The final play-offs for European qualification to the World Cup have been drawn.

Eight out of the nine runners up in the group stages for the UEFA qualification to the tournament in Russia next summer qualified for the play-off stages.

The teams will play a two-legged play-off to determine who will fill the final four places for European teams at the 2018 World Cup.

The ties will take place on November 9-11 and 12-14.

Here are the ties:

Northern Ireland v Switzerland

Croatia v Greece

Denmark v Republic of Ireland

Sweden v Italy
