Yaya Toure trains with Usain Bolt ahead Soccer Aid

Yaya Toure trained with his Soccer Aid team-mates on Thursday amid his bust-up with Pep Guardiola, in which he accused the Manchester City manager of favouring white players.

On Monday, the 35-year-old made the extraordinary suggestion that he was being discriminated against by Guardiola on racial grounds while his agent Dimitri Seluk warned the Spaniard of an ‘African curse’ following his client’s treatment.

Looking firmly focused on the charity match at Old Trafford on Sunday night though, Toure joined up with the other members of the World XI for a training session at Mostspur Park in London.

The Ivorian looked to be in good spirits as he took to the training pitch alongside the likes of Robert Pires, Juan Sebastian Veron, Usain Bolt and Dan Carter.

He could also be seen tussling for the ball with ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional Brendan Cole and gliding away from ‘Line of Duty’ actor Martin Compston.

Bolt also looked lively in the session, which was overseen by former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp.

The retired Jamaican sprinter has been training with Stromsgodset and received a runout in a game against Norway U-19s earlier this week.

The Soccer Aid 2018 teams boast a range of former footballing and showbiz superstars as they look to raise money for charity.

Olympic legends Sir Mo Farah and Bolt will go head-to-head on Sunday, while former Manchester United stars Michael Owen, Edwin van der Sar, Phil Neville and Eric Cantona will all return to the Theatre of Dreams.

Other international superstars include former Barcelona and Holland star Patrick Kluivert, Dutch legend, Clarence Seedorf and Arsenal Invincibles player Pires.

Avid Liverpool fan, Damian Lewis will play alongside former Liverpool player Danny Murphy, while comedian Lee Mack said he will bring ‘unrivalled physical prowess, unbelievable abilities, and movie star good looks’ to the team.
