Zambia’s World Cup qualifier clash with Nigeria gets new date

Zambia’s football ruling body has announced a new date for the opening 2018 World Cup qualifing clash with the Super Eagles while the venue remain unchanged

Nigeria’s 2018 World Cup qualifier Zambia will now hold on Sunday October 9, 2016, the Zambia Football Federation has announced.

The game was initially billed for Monday, October 3 but the hosts moved the date without any reason, while the venue remain Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

Aside the game against Chipolopolo, the Super Eagles must negotiate their way past Algeria and Cameroon to qualify for the 2018 Fifa World Cup Russia.
