Zidane signed new Madrid deal, leaving his wages up to Perez

The French manager has signed a new contract keeping him at the Bernabeu until 2020, but according to ‘Marca’ he didn’t negotiate his new salary, leaving it in the hands of Florentino Perez.

Zinedine Zidane was a special footballer, and he is also a different kind of manager. He is leading Real Madrid through one of the sweetest moments of the club’s history and his connection to the ‘Blancos’ is such that he has decided not to negotiate the wages in his new contract.

The Frenchman will remain at the club until 2020, but his salary is up to Florentino Perez. It is not one of his main concerns, something he has informed the Real Madrid chief. He is satisfied with feeling comfortable and backed by the club when it comes to his decisions on the pitch.

As reported by ‘Marca’, the Real Madrid coach has put pen to paper to prolong his stay at the Spanish capital, something which is set to be announced in due course, when the La Liga outfit feel is the right time.

Zidane’s magical spell at Real Madrid could extend itself until 2020, that is what is stated on the contract. The results and general feel of the team will ultimately decide his fate.
